Shore up me timbers with that thar spork, and some gumballs!

OK so yes it's been a while. I don't have any excuses. Just was "gone dark" for a while. Now i'm back and with a vengeance like Bruce Willis.

The Family vacation to Great Wolf Lodge was exhausting and fun at the same time. Her Majesty didn't wanna get out of the wave pool ever :-) and the boys wore themselves out on the water slides, and alternating in the wave pool. Our last day there just the boys and I went to the water park, and we lost track of time dumping water from convenient buckets on strangers below. We were a little late checking out.

Happy Holidays!!!! Thanksgiving is coming this week and I intend to eat myself into a coma, and then drool on the couch. Nice that I now work for  the State of Washington, I actually have paid holidays! 3 day work week WHOOHOO!!! I am really looking forward to this thanksgiving, the first in our house all (well mostly) together as a family. A couple of our kids are in other states, and won't be making it but we will have them in our thoughts anyway.

Coming up next month is the 2 year anniversary of the first night my beautiful baby girl and I were together. we have big plans for dinner, and possibly a show, and a night in a Jacuzzi tub room right by the lake Washington waterfront. I can't freaking wait!!! I love every night with my girl, this one is gonna be fun!!!

Ok so that's all I got right now. If you're reading this and puked in your mouth a little at the last paragraph, i'm not sorry and there will be more to come i'm sure.

If you're working right now, stand up hold your arms up like you just won a marathon, and shout "MY PAPA LIKES GIRLS!!!!" then sit down quietly and pretend like you didn't do anything. I guarantee you will get some interesting questions from your co workers at your next lunch date. :-)
Their papa likes girls too!

Much Love,
Erik

Morning Pork Chop!

I know it's been a while since I've posted but we've been busy. Doing what i'm not sure, but we've been really busy. I have this new bad habit of forgetting where I parked in the morning, so by the time I get out of work, I sorta have to wander around the 3-5 block radius I usually park in hoping that I won't miss the Petey because I didn't wanna walk up one of those steep ass hills. Yesterday I found it pretty quick, the day before, not so much, I pretty much lost the Petey for a good 20 minutes. Maybe I should start taking pictures of it and where it's parked every day so I won't lose it again.
We are taking our first Family Vacation this weekend, the whole crew except for Amonte who is going to make sure the house doesn't burn down (hopefully) and feed the cats and things. We're going to go to Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, Wa. The kids are excited though this morning Her Majesty when asked "Where are we going tomorrow ?" mumbled "greatwolflodge" so we kept asking her over and over until she could come up with some enthusiasm. We're gonna rent a mini van, so we don't have to take both cars. The Petey is in limp mode most of the time now anyway and won't rev over 2500 rpms which makes highway driving out of the question.

My Baby Girl's birthday is this weekend too, and were going to all be in one hotel room on her birthday :-( not what I had hoped to do for her birthday, but it's the first long weekend we've had recently, and the kids have been all over the idea of going to GWL for a long time.

That's about all I have today, here is a pic of me because I know people wanna stare at me..

Need to take more pics so that this is a rich media experience for you instead of just random krap falling out of my brain onto a blog.

Much Love,
Erik

Don't shoot me because I'm singing, geesh

We have been sick for the past few days, it sucks because Zoe always gets hit way worse with contamination than the rest of us do. Today I am alternating between hot flashes (man o pause?) and shivering while sweating.
Missed a couple of days last week doubtful that I can go home today. Me at work there on the right... Those headphones play really loud, and spotify has been rawckin all morning.... The problem has become that I get balls deep into analyzing these 200,000 plus line Excel spreadsheets, and start singing along.... The first time wasn't so bad, it was Gogol Bordello "Start Wearing Purple".... and I stopped soon as I realized everyone was staring at me, and Jarrod waved his arms around to catch my attention and shushed me loudly. Here is were it became a problem... System of a down Cigaro (Explicit Version of course ) came on, and I sang "My cock is much bigger than yours (my cock can walk right through the door)" and the only woman in our office Mary, opened up with her full auto Nerf gatling gun at my head, and laughed her ass off. Just wait till I get my bipod mounted belt fed nerf gun, Ill take some muthafuckas out!!!

I have found a new obsession... Converse DC comics series "The Riddler" low tops.... OMG!!! I want a pair of these sooooooo badly.... if anyone would like to they can be shipped anonymously in a size 13 to me at.....
:-)

I would like to introduce Lucy our new little tiny kitteh, aka LBC... yes she is grooming me which has become a problem as it scares Her Majesty shitless in the middle of the night. She has begun to run for the door now when someone opens it too which could be a problem.

Anyway thats about all I got today... Have a really smiley day.

Much Love
Erik.

Halloween parties nerdy college employee style

We just had our Halloween party at work. Zoe's cupcakes were a huge hit. I am dressed as Jack Skellington,
yes that is me
and my boss was death which a few people mumbled that silent and odd fit him well.. We had a really boring Powerpoint presentation about evaluating processes or some shit. Then the party started with food like roast duck (HEADS INCLUDED!!!) Caviar, and a Potato/Lobster/Leek soup that was fucking amazing, Then we had candy corn races... One person holds a cup of candy corn, with two teammates and spoons you transfer the candy corn from cup one to cup two using all three team members and the spoons. I was the anchor, and the

student helpdesk girl...(terrible with names) was middle player leaving Justin to run.

My transfer to her worked perfectly and we dropped none, but turns out her and I are both lefty's..... hand off to Justin and it was all spoon handle conflicts and flying candy corn... we still pulled off 2nd place with 48 pieces.  Then was time for Halloween Jeopardy, our team was Ethan (Astronaut), Mary (Sandals and Socks Guy from Pemco) and me looking like the pic on the right. They are both very competitive, i'm not but do know lots of useless things. We won of course, because none of us would answer unless we knew for sure and we only knew for sure the really obscure ones. Cameron was MC here is a shot of him... not really sure what the costume was but CAPTAIN AWESOME probably fits.

The food was good, the games were fun, I am nauseated from the candy and sweets, and wanna go home and to bed to wrap myself around Zoe (especially if she will leave on the blue wig and lashes... see below.)
OMG will you dress like this for me again please ???

oh yessssss, and the striped stockings....to the left. She can take off everything else.... maybe leave the glittery disco dots next to her eye :-)

Damn she is gorgeous...

K enough obsessing with my lovey.

Yall have a good haunting and things...

Much Love,
Erik

Better mood, Biscuits tend to make excellent melee weapons.

Ok so i'm in a better mood today, idk just don't like the down ones. Here is my sad face.

One year ago today I asked the love of my life to marry me, in the wind and the rain and cold on the observation deck of the space needle.

This is right after she said yes, and that really is THE OSCAR MAYER WIENER MOBILE!!!
She said "yes" and with tears in her eyes asked "So are you gonna put the ring on me or do I have to do it myself?" :-)  I love how direct she is, how I know that we can tell each other anything and that though it might piss off the other for a while we are still the best partnership I personally have ever known.
Best night ever was spent partially here.
I have a minor plan for this evening, it should be nice, I want the kids to be involved, and am hoping she doesn't read this before I get all in motion.I'll tell all about results tomorrow. I know the engagement day isn't really an anniversary, just we have been through a lot in the last year and it's sort of our fresh start moment.
She should be surprised though she wasn't so much the day I asked her a year ago (left the box from the ring on the hotel room floor, let slip that the hotel would transport us to the space needle for dinner) I haven't told her anything about tonight. HAH!!!! I did good!!!

Drove the Petey to work so I can pick up a thing or two on my way home to make the evening complete, he didn't even try to murder me this morning! Maybe he is just happy that I gave him a bit o fuel. Cloudy and grey, just the way I like it here in Seattle, I wish we had more friends or more time to do things with friends, but oh well I love the big ass family thing too and the few friends we do have are great close and trusted friends.

The pic above is one of our friend Frances that I stole from her FB page.(gotta remember to take more pics when we have parties.) The pic on the right is the face pic of Jack and Janice that I stole off of Janice's FB page (sorry Janice you and Jack come back over, we will take pictures for me to put all over the internet that aren't your tits  K?)
The pic below....
those are Janice's tits because everybody likes tits, and I have to remember "EYES UP!!! Anyway the friends we have are way better than having half ass friends who will try to get
Whatever they want no matter who it hurts, and live a life of rumor and gossip. Thank bob for great friends.

Guess today was reminisce and Rant and rave and tits day on my blog... Here is a pic of  part of a building, I kinda think the guy in the hoodie up there looks sorta like me.

Great family, great friends, great beer, and tits to ya..

Much love
Erik

GODDAMNRINGDOESNTFIT!!!

So I was hinting at it yesterday, in the evening, I renewed my proposal to Zoe, i involved our little kids, and had this whole thing I was going to say. Peyton handed me the card for her, and she read it, then Cade handed me the abalone shell earrings I got for her, and we gave those to her from all of us for a smile, Then Ava really proudly handed me the ring and I kneeled down, opened it, and meant to say " Zoe you are my love, my best friend, my confidant, my lover, and I don't think I would have survived the last two years without you.... Will you marry me"  Instead i said Zoe I love you more than anything and started bawling and quick got out Will you Marry me before I turned into a snotty teary mess. Thank bob she said yes, and hugged me, but then the ring

which is the same size as the one on her left hand won't fit on her ring finger of her right hand GRRRRRRRR, now I have to get it resized, and hopefully they don't fuck it up. Here it is, farking just a little bit too small.

Anyway the kids were proud to be part of me asking Zoe to marry me, I love her madly and what I wanted to say to her was entirely true.

I love you Zoe

Walks can do wonders especially if you scare the shit out of college students walking nearby.

I took a walk for lunch, needless to say I was a bit affected emotionally. Apparently after walking for a bit I noticed that I had none of the usual trouble walking on the always crowded sidewalks on campus, I turned my music up louder, and continued to walk, while taking a few bad pics, and one or two of meself, and realized that the students were actually parting to go around me as far as to walk into the street to avoid possibly bumping into me. This is how I looked walking... I'm actually kinda nerdy looking in my mind and can't imagine why they all looked so worried, it's not like I was wearing a sign that said "I hate you all and want to smash your stupid heads in with a sledgehammer" or anything.

Anyway here are some more of the pictures I took in no particular order.

George has a HUGE sword

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

So when people communicate they are supposed to tell the other person things that they believe the other person should or would like to know instead of saying random swear words, and refusing to speak, That doesn't get much done in my mind. Anyway FUCK!

Not happy
The ride to work was uneventful though balls cold, wearing two jackets this morning. Didn't take any pictures was too busy wallowing in self loathing. (yes I am in a great mood this morning) wait maybe I did take one... Idk listening to angry music seems to make me feel better. Right now it's Papa Roach "Getting Away With Murder"  My lunch once again alone with myself should sure brighten my thoughts.(sarcasm, or sarchasm even) When I feel like this really I just want to go out and beat random strangers on the street while telling them what a piece of shit their mother was for even conceiving them.

Ok so yes you get the down side along with the funny side, I'm sorry I come as I am or I don't come at all.
Dirty Wizard ?
I am practicing my dirty wizard look or maybe it's just my cereal killer look idk, yes I always wear the same hoodie it's all I have. Sheesh typing this is actually making me feel better maybe my lonely lunch walk won't kill me as badly today. Maybe it's time for me to just be assimilated and become one of the mindless sad drones that seem to swarm this city. I try to get people to smile or even make eye contact, but most of them look at me like I am about to strangle them with my headphone cord or something, hell I don't even want to talk to them, just want some contact. Oh well Guess isolation is the key to sanity i'll have to try that for a while and see how it goes.

Have a good day despite me please ?
Spite me Smite me either way.

Much Love
Erik

POWERBOMB SKYFORCE ROCKPARTY!!

Good morning Interwebz, The weekend was goood, spent family time, chilled back at the house napped a little, wanna nap some more. Why is it that i'm so tired on Monday mornings, maybe it's just lack of interest, came close to calling in sick today, but couldn't come up with the energy to make up a reason to stay home.

True Love.
2 days until the 26th, my girly doesn't have to remember this date but i'll never forget it, one year ago on the 26th I asked Zoe to marry me and she said yes in the wind and the rain at the top of the space needle. That was the best day of my life, I wish that night and the way it felt would go on forever, it was like I was dreaming. I want to give her another amazing night like that one felt to me.

Y'all cant see me.

We made reservations for Great Wolf Lodge for November 11-13 and they charged us a 50% deposit!!! holy krap!!!I guess 7 people makes family vacations expensive. I've never been there should be an experience to remember, I still want to make Zoe's 29th birthday one to remember in a good way. Since she manages our money it makes it tricky at best to buy her any present.

Touch my MONKEY!!!

Sometimes I feel like this, i'm not sure what this is but I feel that way. This morning I was soooooo sleepy I bought a 5 hour energy and pounded it down, now my chest is a bit vibratey, and my legs twitchy, not sure if this is better than falling asleep at work or not but i'm riding the caffeine wave until it breaks.

One of my favorite songs lately is "Yes, you're busted" by Kind of like spitting.

"will you call me a genius when i write down all my fears? when i'm locked in my room all day trying to sound like it's been years? and when i exaggerate to make the meaning count, will you count on me or will you count me out? we have stopped to admire the ones who don't wash their clothes. that narrow their glance at the dance but soften their eyes for shows. what a big surprise, the end of the night, the sets for you. you're not sure if you know him, but he wants you to think that you do."

I really like the lyrics, and even though this isn't the best representation I still am digging it. It makes me want to dance..anyone wanna risk dancing with me ? "Will you call me a genius when I write down all my fears ?"

I make barky sounds that make people smile as they pass by.

Just because I want to, here is a picture of a poodle in a Spongebob sweater, yet another bright spot in this city of endless frowny faces and averted eyes. I wonder now how many bright happy spots I pass unknowingly every day, lets hope for running into lots of bright sunshiney happy spots for all of us.

Much Love

Punch drunk slam dunk!

Public Transit (the bus in my case) if used properly will provide endless hours of entertainment. Yesterday in addition to the sweet confused lady who kept asking me if it was her stop (see previous post) on the way home I met....... wait for it...... the bus window licker. Now I usually am not grossed out by much, but when I ride these buses and have to stand up and hold the rail, My hands always feel really dirty afterward. This guy, got on about a block after I did, sat down and gave the window beside him a nice long lick. He started bottom up, and than went for a side to side shot. I looked outside to make sure he wasn't just putting on a creepshow perv move for his girlfriend outside or something, but nobody was there.
There are no windows in the bendy section

Wait there's more. The bus filled up a bit, and each time someone cleared a seat and got off the bus, he jumped to their seat and licked that window too!!! Same bottom up then a quick side to side. Maybe he was making crosses for all his dead homies who just got off the bus. Hmmmm somehow now I feel that I have spent way too much time talking about it, and you will think I am somehow fascinated by the window licker and his technique. Who wouldn't be really though ? One more event I have to tell you about. So my morning bus is pretty crowded since it passes a major high school and goes to the U district. Today a girl sat next to me. I only mention this because usually the only person who will sit next to me is either a really large man or someone who is completely insane. (like the window licker) So we're riding along all quiet, Some mellow music playing on my earbuds, and I keep my backpack on so that I can just stand up and leave when I get to my stop. I pull the cable as I see my stop coming up, and sort of indicate to her that i'm getting up and out. She pulls her knees sideways in that awkward i'm trying to ineffectively get out of your path way we all do in movie theaters, and I proceed to step stumble over her to make my way to the exit.

Note the red wire, it will murder strangers!!!
The only problem is, apparently my headphone cord as I stepped over followed the laws of gravity and swung downward. It then proceeded to wrap itself around her throat unbeknownst to me, and I walked away thereby strangling some innocent bystander, and almost snapping my neck when the headphones yanked my head backwards  (because of the anchor of her throat). It must have been the angle of the dangle because, my earbuds don't fit well but this one time they stayed securely implanted in my ears, and my phone that was on the other end popped out of my pocket and swung from her throat. I must have turned fire engine red. I unplugged my dangling phone, unwound my headphone cord from her throat, apologized and bowed repeatedly for some insane reason, and backed off of the bus as fast as possible. I am a klutz moron. Caution sane people NEVER SIT NEXT TO ME ON THE BUS!!!

The days have been flowing by sweetly but fast. Thanksgiving already on the event horizon, and the birthday of that one guy not too long after. My lovey and I are trying to work out a mini vaca of sorts for the veteran's day weekend.
I haven't had a vaca since about 2001 so it will be really nice if it all works out. I think it's been a long time for her too. Days with her are so good, she is my one true love.  Baby Girl, I would lick a bus window for you... :-D Ok enough with my mushy section, yeah yeah, I get it.

This pic just felt vacationy.

It's getting chilly and wet and grey in Seattle. Normal for here and this time of year, and I kind of have to admit that I like it. I like walking in the rain to and from the bus.
Grey rainy goodness.
I like to stand in the wind and the rain at the waterfront and feel the world pushing against me. I would love to take a walk down the beach during a storm with the waves battering the rocks, salt spray flying through the air so that you taste it on your lips, wind so strong that seagulls just give up and land when they can't make any forward progress. I like my weather violent, what can I say.

Here is a picture of my Black Chucks. I don't know if you have noticed but I (imagine an SWA shoe whore anonymous meeting) am a shoe whore.
Ohhhhh Chuck!
If any of you would like to donate to my treatment, please send size 13 Chucks, any color any style my way :-)

P.S. you can custom design a pair for me on http://www.converse.com and just have them shipped directly to me. :-D

Right now wherever you happen to be, stand up and yell "DRINK GAMBLE AND HUMP!" I have decided this shall be my battle cry henceforth!

Have a weekend full o fun kit #7

Much love.
Erik

DONK DINGLEDORFER DOES DAMAGE DANGEROUSLY !

I know my titles don't seem to make much sense but that's ok I can feel their meaning and that's all that counts right ? Rode the bus to work this morning, was sort of an uneventful trip except maybe for the woman who sat next to me and kept asking me "Is this my stop?" even though she had neglected to say where she wanted to stop in the first place. Yes I left my earbuds at work so I had to listen to the roaring of the bus' regenerative braking system, and the inane yammering of the college students all riding to where I was going.
Jesus is coming, and he's pissed because you won't swallow.
At least this trip the extreme christian who was attempting to convert three Asian young men, who really didn't speak much English, by chanting "AAAAAAAAAMEN!!!....jesus jesus jesus......AAAAAAMEN!!!" at them, wasn't on the bus this time. He was so loud I could hear him over my pandora radio. I wanted to show him that prayer can even be achieved with my foot smashing his stupid teeth in, but I resigned myself to envisioning different ways of ending his verbalization which entertained me for at least 3 minutes.

Work is going swimmingly. I come wandering in usually one of the first two to arrive pretty much whenever I want. I sit down, then go grab a coke. Maybe wander up to the U Dub tower to look at some servers.

Me wandering around at lunch.
You know you wanna wander with me.
Then I net stumble for a while, and it's lunch whereupon I go wander around campus, maybe grab a sandwich and then meeting time where we stare at each other for about 20 minutes then I go home. I love my job.

My lovey has a surprise in store for her, I haven't shown anyone what it is, and won't here because she reads me sometimes,  but I really hope she likes it. Days with her seem to blur together, we're so busy that the time we have together is sooooo much better than the time we're apart. I love my Baby Girl... Ok enough gushing, sorry.

Here is a picture I took of the bottom side of I-5 from the little park directly under it... Nice little place, odd place for a park but I guess they didn't know what else to do with the land. it's quieter directly under the bridge than it is on either side anyway...

Just wanna say in closing.... Smile really big right now at the person nearest to you, like you want to harvest their skin for a dress.... It will get you a long way to have your coworkers fear you.

King Kong rides a tricycle and other baffling mysteries.

Today started out great, kids were relatively well behaved, I even succeeded in ironing my lovey's gathered shirt without making way more gathers than were intended. (I always have trouble with gathered shirts) With all of the kid's events lately sometimes it almost feels like Zoe and I don't get a chance to take a breath. Football ends today though, and then Basketball starts in January, at least maybe we will have a break for a month or two.

The Petey tried to kill me this morning, ( The Petey is our 2003 PT cruiser, I hate it and I think it knows.) just as I turned onto second street where I usually park, which is about a 9% grade downhill, The Petey stalled. For those of you who don't have power steering or brakes you wouldn't get it but basically it's like the brakes stop working mostly, and the steering becomes heavy as lead. Thanks to my habit of shutting it off mid drive to reset the computer that's been failing for months, I shut it off and on stat, with it still in gear, and it started again. I AM ALIVE!!!! (stupid car).

Here is a picture of a Buddhist monk I often pass in the morning walking from the car to work.
Sometimes I wonder if asking him for a blessing would be rude....He smiles at me as I pass, a bright orange spot of sunshine in the grey world that Seattle usually is... It must be difficult to meditate in the chaos that surrounds us in this city....I most often see him walking along the path under I-5 along the waterfront, looking off at the Seattle skyline... It does look peaceful from across lake union, maybe if I close my eyes I can feel the vibrations from the city, but for the moment I like to see it as quiet and calm with my personal soundtrack playing on my earbuds for effect.
